AP ROC power reserve too low
Hi guys,
I'm new here and contemplating buying my first AP and have a question to ask of the experts. I was looking around for an AP ROC 41mm and pretty much zeroed in on this watch. However when looking up the specs on the website I found it has a reserve of only 40 hours. I was quite surprised as I feel this is really low. If alternating this watch over the week I may have to keep winding it every 2nd day. Isn't this too less when most watches in this league boast a much higher reserve. also keeping the chrono on will obviously further reduce the reserve. This has really put me off but I would like your thoughts please. Maybe the Other option to consider is the Offshore then? thanks in advance |

If you don't want to wind it - get a watch winder to put it on when you are not wearing it.
Problem solved! |

Watch winders are intended for this purpose.
I wouldn't say 40 hours is low, I'd say it's normal. If you feel it's too little, then there's not much you or we can do about it.

I have many watches with only 40hrs PR. In fact my grail of grails is only 40hrs. It's fine.

Neil - that's just a great looking watch.
Personally I don't care about power reserve time. |

I was apprehensive to purchase the ROC because of the power reserve..
Well, I did and I can certainly say I have no regrets. I don't think the 40 hour reserve is a bad thing at all- especially since your other watches will have to fight for wrist time after you get the ROC ;D |
