Icon10 Thanksgiving 'watch crush'...

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to our US friends! We do not celebrate here, but I played along with a great lunch

http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=325521

...and taking the afternoon off to watch football!

...now, being a WIS, what do I do while watching Steelers vs Ravens? Yes, take the iPad during breaks and look at watches!

Now, a nice timepiece is coming in 2014, but there is this 'itch' for a 'new watch smell' sooner...something in SS.

I have played with the idea of selling the Daytona (I called my AD and if I wanted a new one, it would take them 2-4 weeks to get it for me) using the funds towards the next '14 incoming, and buy something before that (the '14 watch will be here in the second semester).

I thought about a BlackBay, but neither my SO nor my daughter like it, they prefer the Pelagos, but I see the Batman or Bruiser and like how it looks (have not shown it to them).

What would you do, considering that my SS Daytona gets little (very little) wrist time and a new daytona is on its way for '14...

Gerardo, it looks to me like the SS Daytona is dispensable and second half of next year is a long way to go. So I agree why not get something in the interim to

enjoy and what better SS piece than the Black/Blue GMT?

Btw, that was a great lunch you had there.....

I prefer the GMT Black-Blue to the Pelagos, but I voted Pelagos... why?

More cash in your pocket for another watch in 2014. ;)

I'd keep the Daytona for now and wait for '14 watch to come. Don't really need anything between now and then.

Add me to the list of GMT voters.

Deep down, you know that when your family members tell you "I don't like that GMT," it's just their special way of saying that they love you for who you are!

Get the BLNR, since you have another Daytona coming also, get rid of the old one.

Don't listen to what the wife and child say. You are the one who has to look at it whenever you wear it, while they only have to see it occasionally...
