Rubber B on my Sea Dweller

While out and about today I stopped into one of my local AD to say hello and see what might be new in the preowned case. To my surprise they had a few Rubber B straps for sale and I picked up the black one with tang style buckle...great quality and easy to install with lug holes of course. Just another way to love the SD!!! I was also surprised to see all the other models the strap would fit....

Looks good, I've been thinking about this exact strap for my 16600. How does it feel? Should be swanky given the price. No local dealer for me, want to check out in person.

Very nice. I'm also considering that strap for my Seadweller. Can you get a Rolex tang buckle? Did they put it on the watch for you?
Thanks for sharing

Thanks guys...to answer a couple of the questions...it feels good, but still new so I would expect it to continue to improve as far as comfort is concerned. This price is high, but I am a "Strap-a-holic" so if any strap is of good quality and gives my watch a new look I am going to buy it. :)

I do not believe you can purchase a Rolex tang buckle, but they do offer the same style strap that utilizes the clasp from your current bracelet...looked complicated to me and I prefer the adjustability & look of the tang buckle. I installed the strap myself and the fit/tolerance is very precise.

Looks very cool.

I just picked up a Rubber B for my Deep Sea. Haven't had time to strap it up, but looking forward to it!

Looks hot. Somewhat more 'toolish' than the Oyster.

I have one for my Daytona 116528. On the packaging there is a ref. code 'M103'. Your one is M106. Is there any difference?

Nice. I have a Rubber B for my ExpII and found that putting the deployant on it was PITA. The tang wasn't available at that time. I have a Hirsch rubber strap on the way for use with the end links from SmartyJones. Time will tell whether that combo will look as nice as the rubber B.

I have had a RubberB with the tang buckle for almost a year. I bought it for my Sub 14060, and now use it on my Sea Dweller 16600. It is very comfortable with both.
I use it when I travel as it makes my watch less conspicuous. It's also great in the water and doesn't accumulate sand or salt.
I don't understand those who complain about the price, did you ever price the rubber strap for an AP ROO!
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Black rubber strap really sets the Seadweller off! Very nice indeed!

That's a very nice look indeed! May consider one next summer for my 114060.

Cheers,

Dan

Really like the RubberB over the other rubber band options available. Fits the tool watch look and has a more finished look at the case.
