Help from our Melbourne Australia TRF members
Probably the wrong spot to post but I got no answers in the seller section. Am going to the US in January and was hoping to take advantage of the tax back 11%. I have been looking at this watch at Watchtime forever. It seems like good value at $9K (pre tax back), but the reviews of Watchtime on google are not great. Can anyone provide advice on this company, I dropped in there a couple of years ago and it is a nice looking little store, but if they have a bad reputation I will run. Maybe one of you has had a look at it (has been for sale for many months), it is not a popular modern dial but I like classic colours so that does not worry me. Has not got a box or papers which is also of concern (may need service, I fear they will open it and find wrong parts or worse). If not I may go for a watch from Nick Hacko, he is never cheap but at least I know he is legit as are his watches. With the Aussie $ down low, buying in the US now does not make sense like it did just 12 months ago.

I just bought a Rolex Sub through them a couple of months back.
They have been around for a long time (10+ years) and have been in the Block Arcade for longer. A1 reputation and out of all the retail shops that sell '2nd had Rolex' their prices are generally fair. |

Nick Hacko seems to be probably one of the more expensive sellers BUT his reputation is flawless and he is smaller than watchtime.

They have also reduced a few of their prices over the last 24-48 hours.
Your watch is now down to $8990 inc tax. |

Yes Watchtime has what looks like a very reasonable price for a 168000 so they may be worth checking out for that watch you are interested in.
Nick Hacko does have a good reputation but asking $99 a year to be on his email list seems a touch greedy IMHO. |
