Can my Rolex survive...

In the spirit of all the "can I shower with my Rolex" threads...

I attended my company Holiday party this evening (which would account for my buzzed-up state), and as a Manhattanite my Explorer II doesn't see the inside of many caves, however it does see the inside of quite a few pubs and lounges. On this evening, I'm proud to report that the 216570 has survived being spilled upon by one Blue Moon (by a lovely drunken co-worker), one Guinness (by me) and a slight splash from something resembling a gin and tonic. The Explorer II survived the trying incident admirably.

I think I should go to sleep now.

This sounds like a disturbing example of alcohol abuse ....

Too much spilling.

Yes, it's a faithful little timekeeping companion...but the real assault comes soon.

Let's hear back after it survives through the next three week's worth of spilt eggnog's corrosive lactose, fruit cake's crusty candied gelatinous makings, the swabbing of the turkey's cavernous maw and then all the clean-up soaping and rinsing...

And then there's the whole New Year's Eve thing in Times Square, ya know

My DJ2 survived my brother's bachelor party this weekend. Which consisted of snow/ice (an unexpected element in Dallas), bloody mary's on it, bbq grease, Shiner, and cigar smoke.

Perhaps consider the purchase of the famed Rolex splash guard attachment? Or even think about about wrapping your wrist in celephane prior to undertaking the bar scene?

Finally, a good answer for when people ask why, if you don't dive, you wear a diving watch...
