Wind chill may be -50 ... can't imagine playing (or watching) in that kind of cold.

I was going to get tickets but looking at that weather made me think twice. Best seat will be on my couch!

I passed on tickets..only because I can't make it back to MN after a late Sunday game for Monday morning appointments. Wish this were the early Sunday game.

Have the clothes to survive that temp on a metal bleacher for 5 hours, but not to be. At least 80,250 of my close personal friends get the chance to attend. Stay warm, and GO! PACK! GO!

C'mon. There has to be a couple more niners fans out there. It should be a very interesting game. Even if someone gave me tickets, I'm not sure I'd want to be there with the ungodly cold.

Go Pack! They just announced today the tickets are finally sold out. There was a possibility of a TV blackout...not sure if I really believed that. The weather should make it interesting.

Spending five hours out in a -50 environment is a hefty price to pay just to be able to say, 'I was there'.
Been a Packers fan as long as I can remember but that's a bit much for me.

I love seeing all these Packer fans on here!

I passed on a ticket for the game though. I've been there in single digits sitting on a blanket on top of those cold metal bleachers before. I'm going to stay home and enjoy this one. Although I hear Buck and Aikman are going to call the game. I don't care for them

Lambeau Field will be hard as concrete...doesn't matter who wins because Seahawks will be ready and hungry.

I thought Packer fans were dedicated? They struggled to sell the game out. The team had to get help from sponsors and TV stations (bought huge bunches of tickets) to get a sell-out done to avoid a blackout.

I remember the old Schaefer/Sullivan stadium in Foxborough before the Kraft's built Gillette for the Patriots, the metal benches in single degree weather was unbearable. So wind chills of -50? no way would I go, I love live football but that's nuts!!

I always root for the underdog, I would normally be pulling for GB here but the only chance Seattle has of loosing in the playoffs is San Fran, so I would like to see SF move on so that the Seahawks have a shot at loosing.

If they couldn't get a sellout then the local area would have definitely been blacked out. The Packers had sponsors essentially buy the remaining tickets to avoid this though. There have been playoff games blacked out in the past. Suprisingly 3 of the 4 games this weekend struggled to "sellout." Sellout is a loose term given the fact that the tickets for the other games were probably bought by sponsors as well.

Underwear is key! I personally sport boxers for the game. Got to go with comfort.

Actually, Gary, the buyout of tickets by corporate sponsors was less than 1,000 in number, mostly single seats that would have lingered on the market. Don't forget Lambeau now hold 7,000 more seats that in previous years, and that the game only became a reality on Sunday when the Packers beat the Bears late. Lambeau now sold out for every regular season game since 1959. Ticketmaster didn't help the cause either. Many problems on Monday and Tuesday of this week in getting electronic delivery of tickets set up.

There WAS on playoff game that did not sell out in Lambeau history: the Cardinals playoff game after the strike season of 1982. Lot of bad blood in the fan base over that event. That was also before the internet, when people had to line up at the Packers ticket office to buy seats.

Waiting list is still at 80,000 for regular season tickets. Be a long time before you hear of a problem selling out Lambeau again, is my guess.

Now if only New Orleans beats Philly, Pack beats Niners, New Orleans beats Seattle and the Pack beats Carolina. NFC Championship at Lambeau! A guy can dream, can't he?

But it still didn't sell out without help regardless if there were problems or added seats. If there is so many die-hard Green Bay fans who are on a waiting list , shouldn't it have sold out? Sorry I gotta give all Packers fans a little bit of a hard time since my wife is a Huge Bears fan.
