Wather resistant leather straps?
I am looking for a strap for water and day wear, I am going to live in Thailand in a few months so heat, transpiration and swimming will be permanent.
I don't like very much the feel of the original Panerai rubber strap on my wrist, nato's are nice but I prefer way more leather straps. There are a few strapmakers that have for sale "leather waterproof straps", has anyone already used these straps for this kind of use, for example in places like Florida or others? What are the result, does the strap hold the distance or are they just a little more resistant than a good aftermarket leather strap but no more? Thanks for sharing your experiences about this, I have found a few but the ones from good strapmakers are not cheap, between 180-240 dollars, would hate to spend that kind of money if it only lasts for a few months. |
