Sub c LV
Looking to get a new sub this year always wanted the ceramic LV but when you read the posts about the LV, people have sold theirs (I know a lot of people sold their LN too) Can you live with green as an everyday watch.
Thanks for the help |

I expected to hate it. In person it is sublime. I have owned many many watches and the LVC is one of my favourites that I have ever owned. Go and see it in person... I dare you

I've seen it in person, absolutely incredible. But as an only watch I'd get the black one as an addition, go for it.

I have both and while I Love my LV-C if it was only one, it would be the black face.

I love the LVC as well but for me as a one and only would not work.

Had one and traded it for the blue sub. The green just got old to me after 2 months. It's a gorgeous watch, and I would buy one again if my collection was 3-5 watches; but, I'm a two watch guy.

I've sold it. Sad to say, a few times.
But it always comes back. In terms of a daily watch, it depends on who you are. For me, easy no problem. But I don't care if my watch doesn't match my shirt. Now the fact that I'm crazy and keep buying watches has nothing to do with the fact that it surely can be a one and only.

It's all a matter of taste. My LV is my only watch and I wear it 24-7. If something happened to it (lost, destroyed) I would get another one.

I wear it in rotation because I like the rotation, but it could easily be an only watch for me. Love the LVc.

Stick with the black dial for your single Rolex IMO.

Green is a color I shy away from, so, no; an LV simply would not work for me as an only watch..

I could easily wear the LVc everyday. But unfortunately I have other watches. Still, the LVc gets most of my wrist time.

As my only Sub, no. LN was my choice. But, as my second Sub...well... no again. Got the ND and could not be happier. However, I still think about the LV. That would be a great trio. Who knows what the future might bring.. Good luck with your decision.

Yes it can be an everyday watch. Looking at it is one of the few things that gets me through this ridiculously cold winter

Within the current Sub range, I own the 116610LN, 114060 and 116610LV. Out of the three the LV gets the most wrist time by far. So green for me, even if it is not my daily wearer.
But forget about what other people think. Only you would know. If you like it, buy it and wear it. You can always trade it for a LN if it doesn't work for you in the long run.

To the OP...if you wear lots of color in wardrobe I see no reason why LVC could not be your only watch. Last edited by RobearH; 21 January 2014 at 07:37 AM.. Reason: Picture |

What if you mostly wear black and conservative colored clothing - does that have an impact on wearing the LVC as the only watch?
