I know you want some quick info, but it is usually customary for you to introduce yourself and get a little more familiar to us before you start asking for advice. Actually, it is next to impossible to answer your question. You have not provided a link to the auction; you have not provided any photos of the watch in question; you have not provided any details at all about this watch. The price you mention, if this is an authentic, pristine DJ, is a good one. That's about all we can say, and that's actually going way out on a limb! If you could supply some additional info, we MIGHT be able to help. Enjoy your time here on TRF...

Sorry, my name is Laurie and I live in Florida, close to Orlando. I am interested in buying my first Rolex and thought I would do some research before I actually buy one.

The seller seems legit as he has sold a few high value watches with decent feedback.
The watch also looks ok from the pictures shown. There is always a risk so you will have to trust your own judgment on this one.

Hi Laurie. Thanks for the URL to the auction. I agree with Paul that the watch looks fine and so does the seller.
You mentioned in your post that the seller is offering it for $2,850.00, and yet the "Buy it now" price is $3,377.00. Are you the one and only person providing an offer for this auction at this time? I would not hesitate to purchase this watch, even at the "Buy it now" price. But if you are the only bidder, and you get it at the lower price - EXCELLENT! I have purchased ALL of my Rolex watches (and my wife's DJ as well) on eBay, and all transactions have been excellent. See for yourself: The choice is yours, however. Best of luck with your first Rolex purchase, and let us know what the final results are!

I agree with our esteemed Moderators, it does look like a nice, authentic ladies Rolex. The other Rolex watches he has sold also look authentic.
Are you set on the blue dial? Because Cayce at www.preownedrolex.com has some very nice ladies Rolex watches available. He's a member here with many, many references. |

Yes, I am the one and only offer so far. My heart is NOT set on the blue dial as yet, but I do know that I want either the blue or silver.
