Got to meet our famed Rikki D today!
Good morning everyone, I am here in Tampa Florida for a medical procedure at Pepin Heart Institute and in just a couple hours I'll be going into surgery but before I do I wanted to share a bit of my day yesterday. So I knew I had to have my pre admission tests done but we got done with plenty of time to spare to take advantage of my pre arranged visit with one of our best resident tech experts and that term doesn't do him justice! What an awesome guy he is! He took time to just chat and show my wife around his place and I left there with just the biggest sense of what a fine man he is irrespective to his watch making abilities. I thought I'd share two photos with you, one is of he and I and of course the other is of my watch. He pointed us to a great restaurant just across the road from the beach named Keegan's. My wife had a blackened grouper Reuben sandwich and I had there regular fried grouper sandwich with fries and slaw. Damn was it good!!! Anyway really I more than anything wanted to express just what a good man he is and to do a walk in job for me I thought was very thoughtful as full as his work bench is! Well here are a couple pics, it really did make my visit. I'm not here on vacation at all and it was a great way to take my mind off things and to get to meet yet one more time ..... Just a great guy! Thanks Rikki for making my boy sparkle again like he should and he did it while I waited, doesn't get any better. And please please, without putting his personal business out, he may have already but I'm not going to, all I would ask of everyone who reads this post, please keep him and his family in your prayers. Wow I got to meet Rikki !!!!

Great story, and I hope your surgery is safe and successful!
I've never met Rik, only talked to him on the phone. Your post sums up why he'll get all my Rolex service business. |

I just sent a watch to him yesterday, the third one he has worked on for me. Every time I have talked to him on the phone, we have had some pretty in depth conversations. He is a hell of a guy! I was supposed to meet him last time I was in Florida but it didn't end up working out. I hope to meet him someday.
Best of luck to you.

Rik is a very kind gentleman and always pleased to help others, I've talked to him and was always happy at the end of our conversations.
