Tudor Heritage Chronograph Blue OWNERS QUESTION
folks,
any owners/wearers with constructive pros and cons on this model in any color scheme? mainly comfort and wearability feedback is being sought. thinking of picking one up but i'm still on the fence as a 5min tryout at my ad isn't cutting it with the hangtags and plastics all on. thanks in advance. |

Sam, nice vintage chronograph! A 7032 if I am not mistaken?

I purchased my Tudor HC Blue over a month ago, and she hasn't spent a day off my wrist. Makes me smile when I look at her, reminds me of summer! It's 10° here today and with the windchill it feels like -6. I actually like the case thickness, it wears very well. Gotta love the retro look.

Agree with all of the above. However, Sam puts it best, a fun watch to wear.

I took delivery of my chrono blue 3 days ago. I tried it on a few times at an AD and eventually bought it from DavidSW. I realized after a couple of days that it's a really hefty watch, especially on the bracelet. Last night, I installed the nylon strap. To my surprise, I was able to accomplish this without a single scratch on the lug. Back to the watch, I find it so much more comfortable on the strap. It's a lot lighter without the bracelet, and just feels better. Plus, I think this watch was made to be worn in on the strap. The look is freaking outstanding. Very happy about my purchase.

I'd say the only aggravation I have with mine is with sizing of the bracelet. Because the bracelet is 22mm at the lugs tapering down to 20mm, I believe the links are just a tiny bit bigger than Rolex links. Also the clasp only has three adjustment positions instead of five. For those reasons I can't get a perfect fit for my 6.5" wrist. It's either slightly too tight or slightly too loose. For that reason alone I've considered selling both my THC and Black Bay many times, but I just can't bring myself to do it. They are too much fun to wear and of too high a quality for the price I paid for them. In the picture below the watch looks big on my wrist but in person it looks very good, albeit with wrist presence. It's the watch that gets the most comments.

Actually, Dan, I've been thinking about getting a K-strap for the THC just because I like yours so much. I think it would go well with George's end links I have. The nylon straps for both my Tudors are still in the plastic, unopened, which is where they'll probably stay.
