The search is over!

I've been on the hunt for a SS GMTIIc for about a month now. Got some great help and advice from Tom....aka Kansaivet w/ regards to product and his AD.

Next week I'm going to be in San Francisco for a class reunion so i made some calls yesterday to the respective SF ADs....came up w/ nothing. Kinda lame. Today I went out on a limb and called a couple of Bay Area stores and got lucky. Sales lady said they just got one in the other day in the box. Made the purchase over the phone to lock it up. I'll be picking it up once I touch down.

Just wanted to say that this forum is awesome with its wealth of knowledge and the members are so helpful. A big thank you goes to Tom as well to hear me out as well. Had the opportunity to get a Sub date @ his AD but it wasn't my 1st choice so i decided to wait.

Cheers,
Ray

"...and now the search for the right psychiatrist begins."

I'm SORRY. I just couldn't resist the Seinfeld joke, one of the funniest ever on the show.

Congrats.

The people on this forum make it what it is and most of them are trustworthy and ethical...and just like in any walk of life, some are not.

Shreve & Co in the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto always has GMT-2C in SS in stock whenever I swing by, in case any else is looking for one
