RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman

Found dead in his apartment in NYC this morning, police suspecting drug overdose. Such a great actor.

What an incredible loss to the arts community and movie buffs alike.

The range of characters that Hoffman played over the course of his career is just mind-boggling.

This is a tragic and likely senseless (if this is drug related) loss.
May he RIP.

Apparently self-inflicted as reports indicate he was found with a needle still in his arm. What an absolute waste! Sorry to rant, but the older I get the more this stuff pi$$es me off. All that talent and this is what you do with it??? Sickening!

Incredible Amazing Actor!!!
RIP

First role i remember him in was "scent of a woman"...his part was a rare performance when an actor gets to completely switch personalities midway through the film. ... He played so many great roles!!!

Absolutely depressing... Truly sad. Such a waste. One of the greatest actors of our time. And one of my favorites.

Lately, drug dealers have been mixing heroin with the powerful narcotic Fentanyl. Users wind up accidentally overdosing, not knowing about the Fentanyl. Unbelievably, heroin is now cheaper than Vicodin and Percocet around here. PSH had been sober for 23 years before relapsing recently. Tragic.

Im a pill junkie and have been injected twice with diacetylmorphine (Heroin) for pain and yes its like floating on a cloud of ti**ies to kiss God....best I can describe it. Im use to Oxycontin but it took me to a whole next level high and I can see anybody wanting to chase that high it gives you. But Street Heroin....no way you never know the strength
and can die with the needle in your arm.
