How many WG GMT will Rolex produce typically year?

Hey members,
Just wondering how many of these WG GMT's will Rolex produce on average each year? Doing the math for even 5000 watches is some coins. I am sure they can easily sell 5000 of these watches per year. Imagine if they made it in SS and sold each watch for lets say $8K just to be conservative and produced and sold 100,000 per year. Now that is some serious coinage. I look forward to seeing one of our members with the first WG I am sure it will be amazing to see and can only imagine what she looks like in real life. Since we all know that a picture is one thing, however in person they are amazing!
Have a great day all,
Tom

They may not be able to produce the ceramic bezel in sufficient quantity's. If they can only make 3000 bezels a year, there is certainly more profit on WG than SS...

Cannot see why once you have made one insert and have the working formula you can churn them out by the thousands if needed.Although the marketing tells its long processes like the other ceramic inserts. Expect its much like the other marketing Rolex used to use its take 12 months to make a Rolex oyster. But like Paulie said if they can sell them I can assure they can make them considering the huge mark up profit in selling.

Tough to say. They will sell more in the introductory year and the first full year after that, but then demand will likely go down.

As to which way they'd make more money, SS or WG, again tough to say. Any numbers, like your 5K versus 100K, are just arbitrary. Highly doubtful Rolex would sell 100,000 in SS. That would be over 10% of unit sales and let's face it, in the real world the GMT isn't even Rolex's 2nd best seller.

Also, it's tough to quantify the influence having the WG Pepsi sitting in the showcase will have on sales of SS models, especially the BLNR. My guess is it will help. It's like walking into a Porsche dealer and seeing the row of 911's with $110K stickers on them. All of a sudden, that $50K Boxster looks pretty enticing.
