Pin under bezel insert?

Swapped the pepsi insert for the black ,for a change of pace .I noticed it wasn't clicking when I turned it.Looked further and discovered I had lost the little pin under the bezel.Wonder does this pin serve any definite purpose and approx. what would it cost to replace.THANKS

The spring pin creates the click as it rises and falls over the internal teeth inside the bezel, its very simple system which crates a ratchet and stops the bezel from be-coming bi directional.

The GMT IS bi directional. You really need to find it or buy another. They're available on the internet. You only need a cheap aftermarket one, but try and get the longer pin. Much better than the original small one.

Here's a link for gmt click springs on ebay. It won't hurt not having one but it's always nice to have the click feel. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BEZEL-CLICK-...item4851bfdc7f
