Had my fini-flight in the C-130 late last year... have been in training the past few months for my new assignment... finally had my first flight last thursday! The mighty KC-10!

Its quite different from the Herk, but should be a fun interesting mission! Very excited to get on the road soon with her after my check ride in a few weeks!

Also saw this on the ramp a few weeks ago... the super-guppy! Was pretty neat to finally see one in person!

I love airplanes but that super guppy can't fly. I think the earth rejects it because it is so ugly.

This 260 hp Maule dropped in to visit my next door neighbor, who is a 767 pilot for American Airlines. The lake was calm and the lighting was great. Beautiful amphibious plane.

I lived in Winter Haven for 3 years. I watched those guys bounce off the lakes there. I always wanted to add a sea rating, but never had the extra $$$.

Kingair,

Don't know if you've been following but things aren't looking real good for Davis-Monthan right now. With the A-10 about to be scrapped, the base's future mission is very much up in the air. The Boneyard will surely continue on but as for the rest of the facility, there isn't a whole lot of clarity art this point.

Airbus flew the NEO 320 for the first time today. Awhile still until I get my chance, but looks like a cool machine.
