YM1 - What do you think?
Want to come back to the Rolex fold and the YM1 in blue has grown on me quite a lot recently. What attracts me is the blue dial and the platinum bezel and thin profile. Any thoughts? Please share esp from current owners of this watch.
Here's a wrist shot when I tried it out in an AD. |

I like it a lot. Considered it hard and good before picking up my sub, but was never quite all the way there. All the best.

I've owned two and sold them both...the platinum dial and then the blue after awhile they just stopped doing it for me, but the blue dial is beautiful

I'm a proud owner. Since getting it a few months ago, it's is my daily wearer. The blue is mesmerizing yet not too many think of it as a rolex since it does not look like a sub or DJ. The biggest plus for me is the comfort. I enjoy staring at it not knowing what time it is!

I really like it with the blue dial. For sure on my future consideration list.

When my son and I were shopping for his first new Rolex when he got into med school this is what we both thought was the hottest thing out, and that was when it was side by side to the new black and blue ceramic GMT

The tone of blue in the dial and how striking the red second hand looks against it is hard to argue with.

I like it. The only reason I prob haven't had one is the numbers on the bezel. Too big IMO

x2 the ym wears wonderfully! The blue dial with the platinum bezel and PCL's looks quite nice as well. I say go get it.

Really enjoy mine. Very comfortable, and is like that it doesn't look like a Sub or GMT or other more popular Rolex.
PCLs definitely scratch easily. Do also have one small scratch on the bezel. |

Love the watch, like it even better with the Pt. dial which under certain lightning is flat grey and under a different one, a shimmering metallic:

Its slimmer, shinier, and looks different. A nice ref to mix/rotate the collection.
Can be both casual and formal as well. The blue dial changes different shades depending on lighting👍 |

I like it, but for me it would have to be the original platinum dial.

The blue dial is probably the best looking SS Rolex watch imho, I would go for it Ben. I will either buy this or the new sunburst Bluesy next year.

I think it's the most beautiful looking Rolex there is. I don't have one yet because I'm not sure if I can pull off PCLs. I'm a casual, brushed steel type of dude. But you? Buy it now!

The YM 1 doesn't seem to get a lot of love ... but I think it looks great.
