TBH mate it is struggling a bit, just the feel of full gold is really intoxicating, but I do rotate them fairly every couple of days altho my steel ones I don't wear much any more.

beautiful watch !, steel is important to own for a lot of reasons, but it only represent 1/3 of my small collection !

Jorge, some of this is your fault I used to have a dozen watches and was happy to wear them once every two or three weeks, but after getting three gold pieces and reading about your 3/4 watch theory I am starting to agree that that is about right for me too. I will keep a couple of SS watches but will probably only wear them for rough stuff and not part of the general rotation. Altho if selling them helps me get another gold piece I probably will!

I was the same, but yes the week has only 7 days
It just make sense to get the 3 or 4 watches that you truly adore and fully enjoy them. The idea to have 3-4 watches in your stable at all times, helps with the flipping. And yes after some time your taste and/or thinking might change and you might need to tweak/flip here and there, and that's fine; after all "the hunt" is part of the fun, but gosh not every other month and loosing tons of money!

A real beauty - and an object lesson for Rolex.
Yes, Hans, there really CAN be a tasteful date window on a chronograph!
