1987 GMT Fat Lady....

Is it considered vintage? I have the opportunity to buy one. Boxes and papers and a recent RSC service. Also, I know they were only available worth a coke bezel. Is a Pepsi bezel available? Thanks all.

Also, does the fact it's a fat lady make it more desirable?

Yes, a sapphire crystal insert in the "Pepsi" color will fit on the 16760. The 16760
is considered collectible and when compared to the 16710, most would prefer the 16760.

It's hard to say something is "more desirable" when you don't give a reference point. It's less desirable than an older vintage model, and more desirable than a new ceramic version.

I like that the fat lady sits a bit more proud on the wrist.

I like the 16760 a lot and think it is different enough from past and future GMTs that it will always have a place with collectors.

Fat Lady in good conditions is not always easy to find.

If you have the opportunity go for it. Only 5 years of production and should be more collectible and valuable in the future

I got a few and like them very much, like John said, a Pepsi from a sapphire gmt will fit.
