So here it is....my first Rolex :)
Hi all,
Some of you may have seen a few weeks ago I posted a Rolex I was thinking about buying from a guy on eBay. Everyone on here gave me great advice to take my time, do my homework and buy "the one". I didn't buy it. So after a week or so of doing a ton of research & not a lot of work I came across this little beauty online from a jewellers in London. I instantly fell in love with it and knew it was "the one". After numerous phone calls etc I took delivery today of my first Rolex!! A 1967 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date. It is in great condition given it's age!! I've always preferred vintage watches to new ones, just something about them. It might not be the most expensive model or a model with all the bells and whistles on it but it's mine! I worked hard to save for this watch and I couldn't be happier with it! Anyway enough of me talking, here it is!! |

Thanks for the kind words lads.
I am over the moon with it. I actually can't stop looking at it!. I've already got An Omega Constellation and a Tag F1 but they weren't cutting it anymore. My Omega will be getting kept for personal sentimental reasons and will get a run out on special occasions but the tag may as well go as it will never see my wrist again haha. The bug has well and truly been caught. Looking forward to getting involved in there WRUW threads as well now lol |
