Quick Question

So... my car entry was disqualified because I used Text in my image. turns out text has its own contests.

New contest going on, same site. (worth1000.com)

Contest Regulations:

In this contest we're going to prove to the world that Samuel L. Jackson really is everywhere! Basically the idea is that you have free reign to do anything with any image (within site guidelines) so long as Mr. Jackson (any image) appears in the image in some form or another. A free-for-all with limitations. Yeah, that's the ticket! This is NOT a mating contest. You don't need to mate him with another person, simply use him in the image you create, i.e. Samuel L. Jackson as the Pope, Samuel L. Jackson as a singer, Samuel L. Jackson as a fast food worker, etc.

The rules of this game are thus: Use any image of Samuel L. Jackson somewhere in your pic. He can be edited, inserted, manipulated, cloned etc...the sky is the limit so long as any image of him is used somehow. As always, quality is a must. You'll have 48 hours for this contest, so make your submission count.

"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to submit less than top quality."

This is what I came up with:

What do you guys think?
Don't forget... what this site is looking for "seamless".
They want entries that look real.

Pretty good. I don't like to be critic ( especially when I can barely post a pic using Photobucket)...
BUT, his right foot looks like its floating. Edges to smooth??
Just that his shoes stand out so dark compared to the sandals.

How about this one?

The clothes don't matter. The whole point of this is to make him be somewhere where he is not. the Ghandi photo is from 1931. Truth be told, the western male wardrobe hasn't changed much since so his clothes are ok.

I think it looks good Chip but as far as photoshop goes, I have no idea about it or what to look for in a pic.

The feet look much better in the second shot, Chip, but maybe a little more softness would help - not too much, though.

No comment on that fugly orange thing that snuck into this thread.

Hehehe - good one, Chip! Just noting that the lighting angles for Sam and the Mahatma are different - not that there's much you can do about that, of course, but maybe that's why the foot looks out of place.
