I tend to notice watches being worn, but most people don't. I rarely have someone comment or mention mine.

Like everyone here, I have the same condition where I have to notice everyone's watch. If my hairstylist or barber had a nice watch I would talk to him/her about watches instead of the boring stories we have to come with. Then I'll ask for him every time to talk more about watches.
You can get something on a rubber band. An AP diver maybe to avoid scratches on the bracelet. |

Two stylists at the salon I go to wear rolex. They both have multiple watches. I should have been a stylist... I could have multiple rolex watches...

I do believe that the statute of limitations has expired on those summary violations! Good eye though!

When I'm in the chair, women and watches are pretty much what we talk about

Hey there I am a hairdresser here in Chicago. It happened once while wearing a coke GMT. A client of mine who is into watches noticed it. Most of my clients have no clue. Saying this I tend to only wear my EXI while behind the chair. When I have office time I'll wear my 116718, AP Diver, or AP 15300. I hit my 15300 on a door while changing towels and thought I was going to die. I am not as concerned about product, shampoo, hair, etc... on my EXI. Where do you work (You can PM me) I have friends who work all over NYC

I'm sort of in the same boat. I have been shaving my head since I was 14. (Trimmers w/no gaurd). Usually it pisses guys off though because I have a full head of thick hair w/no receding hair line and I want it shaved!! lol

YES, and I would appreciate his/her taste. Furthermore, I would likely complement them on their taste and the specific model.
It is my practice to not care what others think about my watches, a sub is meant to get wet and go deep under tremendous pressure, just about any normal daily use scratch will polish out and had you motioned the etc. I am sure there are appropriate answers to them as well. Conclusion: Get your watch back or buy another one.

Absolutely. The guy who cuts my hair has a Rolex and a PAM. We talk watches every time I get my haircut. It's fun. :-)

The bloke who cuts my hair is a friend, neighbour and fellow Man City fan. He has a 16610LV which he has owned from new for about 9-10 years and in that time he's told me it's been in for repair 7 times and that it has always lost several minutes a day. He's told me he complained to Rolex a few years back and they sent him a letter basically fobbing him off saying that you buy a Rolex for the heritage and not the accuracy. I've asked him for a copy of the letter and said I should post it on here for feedback and opinion.
