I love it, I love it, I freaking love it!!! Great looking strap combo with the rubber too. What a beauty of a watch mate. I like the props too.

Thanks Daren! It's a nice rubber strap. A bit expensive, but you know OEM. Very cool buckle too. I meant to take a pic of it but I forgot

I missed the intro post, so give me the tale of tape please, you know case diameter etc...It is a great looking watch, now that is three Breitlings that I have seen that I like, all three belong to members here.

It's about 42x15mm. Fairly heavy on the bracelet, but very balanced and comfortable on the wrist. Straps take away a little of the shiney bling. I really like these watches. I've missed the black dial one ever since I sold it. With a discount, they are really affordable too. I think the SO is a great bargain these days!
Cheers,
Bruce

One more question, I assume this is getting the wrist time being so new, but are the others fairly stable in the collection?

Yeah absolutely. The only reason I would sell anything is if I needed the money for this move. The house painting is costing a lot, but I think I can get through it before the rest of my money comes through. If I sold anything, it would be the GMT. I love the watch, but do I really need a GMT if I'm living at GMT? Really, I don't plan on selling anything.

I know you are still gonna be the same phone call away, or more like Skype now but I am gonna miss you my brother!! You are my idol. That begs a question though, why do I need two GMT's if I don't even know where the hell GMT time originates.

Thanks guys! Just to shake things up a bit (only the Paneristi may like this)

The strap is Hirsch Liberty and looks and feels like a Strapmasters. I love it on this watch, but I'll understand if some of the less adventurous think it looks wierd

bruce that brown strap looks a lot better than the rubber one mate, much classier

i am buying a second-hand superocean, though mine will be a tasteless yellow colour dial, but im just buying it cos its too cheap to pass up

i might fit it with a nice brown strap though and see if i can make it presentable

I am feeling it pal, I like the brown, and if it feels like a SM it must be rock solid on the wrist.

I just got a DIRK SWP chocolate in the mail today, I'll try to post some pics a bit later.

Hey Lurch - I like the yellow dial SO. Actually, I like the orange dial too (Ed will vomit, lol)

Go for it, but I think it looks best on black. JMO :)

Bruce
