Here is the deal. I am going to buy a Z series Blue Sub from a well respected TRF member, wonder who that could be

, and I said "I will make you an offer". Here is where I need help. What would be the right price? Now, keep in mind my idea of a good deal between friends is that we BOTH win. I am not looking for a steal, so before you answer; understand that I want you to look at this transaction from both standpoints. The watch comes with all the trimmings; box, paperwork, perfect condition. Take into account the replacement cost; dare I say recent price increase. I would rather pay a little more, and get a great watch, then buy through other avenues. It is very important to me that I pay the right price.

$6-7k seems the right price as far as my understanding of AD / Grey / LNIB prices go.

You probably refer to CL65AMG's offering at $5695. Seems like a good price if this is your ideal watch.

As long as your high is not above his low, you'll both be fine. Discuss your ranges and agree on what seems fair to both.

I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of $50,000 to $100,000.

Just a ballpark, but anywhere in between there seems like a fair price for such an iconic Rolex.
