Datejust BIG RED...

I was wondering how much it would cost me if i wanted to get a red second hand? Is it even possible.? I think it would look much better, heres a pic i photoshopped:

Ooooh, that would be sharp! However, I don't know if it is feasable and I guarauntee you're about to get a bit flamed over the idea. Now, if only Rolex would offer it like this!

Hmmm looks great. I think your only option is to have your hand painted. I would buy another second hand, and try having it painted, if it looks good, install it in your watch. I can get the hand for you, and i can do the painting work.

If you like red, almost any good watchmaker can take the second hand off for you to get it enameled.

They might even do the paintwork...

I am not sure if your AD or RSC would do that modification although I agree with you that it does look cool. Maybe the reason for the standard DJ not having it is that it would make it resemble the ToG too much.

I like it too, and agree that if your AD has a good watchmaker, they could do the work for you. I like the idea of ordering another second hand and having it enameled.

Thanks guys, you think Rolex themselves would do the paintwork? I dont know another good watchmakers around my area (NJ,NY) and i wouldnt feel comfortable letting an uncertified Rolex watchmaker play with my watch
