Her closet is bigger than our 3 BR apartment in the DC area. And we have the second largest apartment in the building.

Nothing like letting criminals know what you have in your home and where it is! Still, it's a shame that this happened.

That's not a closet. It's a showroom.

And they "forgot" to lock the door and set the alarm after having moved to that home as a result of two burglaries at their former home?

My thoughts exactly. I'm not sure I 'm buying the coincidence thing. The rich Houston suburbs must really be going to hell.

I think the rest were Hublot's or similar - just one SS AP

If she and her husband are rich - and the house suggests they are - why would all her gear be fake? Who is he anyhow?

I find it strange that someone will hit the biggest closet on the planet. You know there are cameras.

If you did hit up the biggest closet you know what you are looking for and how to get there. I think they know each other, The owner and the robber.

OR

It is an insurance fraud. But in that case, Why did the robber send the fake items to a news agency?

Perhaps to throw off the cops? Maybe to make it LOOK like a real burglary with the ransom?

Something is off on all of this.
