http://www.antiquorum.com/auctions/2...-june-28-2014/
I've got my eye on something and stopped by the preview today. Also just registered and put in my absentee bid. Fingers crossed. Auction starts tomorrow morning HK time. My first auction. Anyone else bidding? |

Thanks Tom. I didn't get what I was bidding on.
I'm still working on the Daytona. Will let you know as things progress. |

Hi! I'm new here.
I joined because I'm looking for some advice or help. I actually sold my watch at the Antiquorum Hong Kong Auction in June. Mine was the Rolex ref. 6200 submariner that was featured on the back cover for close to $100,000. It was my grandfathers watch that came to me not long before the auction. He bought it in England in 1954 and it was in the family ever since. I decided to sell it through antiquorum after seeing what the last 6200 sold for thinking I would be able to get a hefty portion for a down payment for a house. The watch sold at the auction but the buyer hasn't paid. It's currently around 54 days since the watch sold and and the payment was due after 30 days. I've asked several times for confirmation of payment or I would like the watch back. after several e-mails, a couple of phone calls to their Hong Kong loacation, the looping in of the CFO I still have no resoloution nor word from Bruno Ayanian, the CFO. At this point they keep shuffling me around, do not return phone calls, and can not give me a straight answer as to whether the watch has even been paid for yet. At this point I've told them that if I do not receive payment by tomorrow I want to renounce the sale of the watch, all of which no one on their end has even addressed. if anyone has any leads as to go about collecting payment or getting my watch back I would be greatly appreciative. in any regards if anyone is contemplating selling with Antiquorum take my experience as warning. |
