Approximate weight to look for?

So I finally got a 31mm rolex two-toned datejust with jubilee....but it feels a bit light, though I've never owned one so I can't be sure. What weight range should I be looking at for this watch? It Has a 7 inch band, simple black dial Chrystal sapphire. I'm taking it to a jeweler today, but just wanted to get an idea. Thanks for any guidance and I will post pics once the band is removed and all.

Hi Susan

The weight's a red herring. Being of the correct weight has absolutely no bearing on the watches authenticity.

It could be a piece of cheese, a brick, a bottle, a glass eye - anything at all. Weighing the same as a Rolex makes it not one jot more Rolex-y.

You would be better off posting pictures of the actual watch to get feedback here.

All the best,

post pics, the weight is not reliable and has changed deprending how old the watch is. Get shots of the band reference on the clasp and close ups of the endlinks and dial
