FOUR months now....and still lookin' good, uh?

Hi guys,

I've had Platty for near on FOUR months now (purchased 1st Dec. 2007) and I've tried my best to keep the clasp in good shape and relatively scratch-free.....considering it has the centre bit polished!!

Picture taken today!!

Looks great JJ! All those months of babying Platty is paying off.

I learned that if you basically are aware that you are wearing the watch every second its on your wrist, and I literally mean every second, the watch will look new forever.

Very nice JJ

Do you put scotch tape over the clasp when you're desk diving?

Be honest JJ -
1. did you wear it every day or you put it in the pillow?
2. did you put a tape onto the clasp and just peeled it off today?
3. did you get it serviced just now?

If none of the above, then

Well Done! You're keeping it well! gratz :)

Well done, I know that its not an easy to protect the clasp, as it usually does make contact with a lot of surfaces

1. No pillow....just wear it every day.....very carefully.
2. No tape on the clasp.
3. Now which idiot would service a watch that's only 4 months old?

JJ

No scotch tape, Jason. Desk diving is done with the right hand....watch is on the left.....no relation whatsoever!!

I am extremely careful at all times and fully aware of the watch on my wrist....I think that's important!!

you can see JJ hasn't left the tape or seals on...there are a few hairline scratches on the furthest right centre panel of the clasp.

Wow...never thought JJ and hairline would be mentioned in the same post!!!!!!!

Just kidding JJ...Platty looks fab.

Well done, JJ, keeping your beloved Platty in near showroom condition - especially as she's out with you every day

She's certainly one pampered YM!!

I 've been wearing my GMT II C for 66 days straight and now scratches so far.

Just a few that you can barely see them. I am taking good care of my only watch
