I just got my seven year old SD back from it's first service.
Looks brand new.

Well done to Rolex service.

Late to post, but I joined the owners club about a month ago. Love this watch.

The last pic, although a little blurry, shows how the matte dial can appear almost brown in the certain light.

First time I saw that laser etched crown by the "6" marker. Plain old iPhone 5s pic, no loupe. So hidden and "subtle" it is.

Do I get a price for being the first to chip the crystal of my Sea-Dweller 4000? :-)

Two months in and I love this watch more and more every day I wear it. In the three pictures immediately above this post the laser etched crown is plainly visible however I cannot see a crown etched anywhere around the six marker on my watch. I would assume it would be present on every model and I would greatly appreciate anyone who can chime in with some insight. Many thanks!

If it is anything like my 16600 then I think you can only see it if the light hits at a certain angle. try taking a flash light and shining on it at different angles.
