AP for the wife...any input appreciated!
Well folks, the inevitable is about to happen. The wife likes my AP and wants one....so....happy wife happy life.
She tried a few on yesterday but we both agreed that the 33mm range looked really good on her vs. the 37mm. She wasn't too thrilled with the diamond bezel but it was the best available model on display. I recommended her we check out the 67620ST which is a newer Quartz model. Any thoughts? It checks all the boxes for her including a rubber strap. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Does she not want a beautiful RG as well? Is there a smaller quartz RG version?

Got my wife the automatic RG diamond bezel with white strap 67601OR.ZZ.D010CA.01. Great casual watch with some flair. We looked at some of the quartz as well but I couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a watch for quartz movement. This also matches my 44mm RG Novelty nicely.
As I agree with "happy wife, happy life" moniker , I am always considering the additional costs of any incomings as well! |

I gave my exwife the black version and she loved it.
I much prefer the 37mm on the picture, but if your wife likes the other one better you're good to go and saved a few thousand.

The black strap would look nice on her wrist

I went through the same process and my wife liked the size and fit of the 33mm lady RO over the 37mm. Went with the auto after reading about the JLC movement. I also heard that it's difficult to change the battery in the quartz model and is best done by AP. I switched the watch over to a white rubber RO strap and a small tang buckle from AP and my wife wears it daily. She loves it and couldn't be any happier with it after the last year and a half of wear.
Here's a pic from our wedding day when I gave it to her. |
