Hello fellow watch fella's..!!!
 (think that made sense...  )I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the members of the forum for coming together and sharing the things we all come here to see and love... Its been a bumpy ride for me, having owned the best part of 30 watches and only at the age of 21, all of this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for all of you flippin' enablers!!   The majority of my collection consisted of Breitling's around 8 or 9 in total, I think...  My love of watches undoubtedly came from my aspiration to one day own a Rolex... And thanks to you guys, I'm now on number 4  It was December 2010 when it all started... Rolex GMTIIc  Four months later, and BAM - I picked up one of the first Hulks, and enabled many into acquiring their own..   I sadly sold the HULK, and have regretted it ever since... Between selling the LVc I obtained 4 or 5 other watches, a few Breitling, Omega etc - which in effect only put me further away from my next Rolex... 2013 in came this little one... Rolex DateJust 36mm White Roman 116234...  Finally... 2014!! My latest acquisition... DateJust II 41mm Silver Baton...   Again, I would just like to say a huge thank you too all that allow this forum to happen, moderators, members, and to all that pledge... What a great community we have!! Take it easy everybody,  Dino

Well said and congratulations again on your newest addition. Maybe you can re-acquire your LV in the near future. The thread you started was one of the reasons that made me purchase my LV a couple of months ago.

21 years old? When I was your age I was 2 years from buying my first Rolex: a used Sea Dweller (yeah, a 1665 Great White) for $850. I bought it from a black and white photocopy a dealer sent out every month. My how "enabling" has changed! Can't believe I'm old enough to say "when I was your age..." :( |
