WG sky-dwellers: "Polar" vs "Panda" >>>

Hi all,

here are some comparison photos of the WG sky-dwellers. The "polar" one (white dial) is mine and the "panda" (black dial/white ring) is AD's ... at least for now ;-)

I agree. I like it better than the black face. The red arrow really pops on that creamy dial.

I like the black one better, the white one is nice but I just never liked the mixture of Roman and Arabic Numbers on the same dial.....

I prefer the white polar dial and this watch needs the bracelet imho as the fluted bezel becomes pretty overpowering without it.

I actually like the Arabic numeral model. Matches the inner ring. Just wish it was on bracelet.

Based on personal experience, Roman/Arabic mixture doesn't look too bad in real life. The Roman numerals are most dominant on the dial ... with larger and thicker metallic fonts. The Arabic numerals are much smaller and thinner and don't create much conflict.

I also had this concern before purchasing the watch. I agree that the Roman/Arabic mixture doesn't look good in magnified internet pictures ... but when I examined the watch in person it was a non-issue,

Rolex offers the option to put the black dial on the WG bracelet (326939) version if you buy via boutique.
