VAT and handling fees so around 20%. You are better off buying direct from EU like Italy and so tax free or thru a UK reseller like Iconic.

AK797 is correct and not worth the effort IMO. Plenty of places like Oralogia Bodini and Show Commerce both in Turin would be a better bet. I am not too sure but I think this is were Iconic Watches(Blackburn) might source their watches from.

You'd probably have to pay UK custom duty on top of VAT.

I got caught out earlier this year - 1680 from US - stopped at Stanstead by customs. Wouldn't release until I paid the 20% via credit card over the telephone

Been cheaper jumping on a flight to US\ 2 nights in a hotel room seeing the sites\ wearing watch on way back - would still have had change left over

The morality police on here will say its your duty (forgive the pun) to pay

You decide & don't ever mention it again on any boards
