Just curious Gerardo, is your food budget higher than your watch budget for the year? I am so jealous of your lust for great food. Unfortunately, my wife and two children do not share my love of different cuisines from around the world. I must live through your pictures, my friend. When you don't post, I feel I am on a diet.

Well, thank you for your comment! I found that years ago, while on the road I spent 15-25us for a simple, standard meal; and nowadays you can have a fantastic food experience for that same amount or 2-3 more dollars. IMHO, worth it (and healthier). I would rather spend 20 on a glass of chardonnay an grilled -made to order- salmon with crab meat and capers than the same 20 for chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and a coke.

Also, following your favorite restaurants and beverage suppliers give you access to tasting events. Last night's was from the 'grilling society' and Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc. An amazing evening with a beer-grilled meal pairing; a first (and certainly not my last) for me!!!!!
