Hi all my name is David and I'm a consultant living in the SF Bay Area (San Jose). Been a lurker for a couple years but just today made the jump back into ownership.

I actually received my first Rolex, Datejust Black Dial w silver sticks, as an engagement gift from my ex-wife's parents 5 years ago. Sold it after the divorce.

Today I went with my new wife and her family to purchase my BLNR in her hometown of Munich. As soon as I saw the BLNR last year I knew I would have it someday. Today felt like a million miles from my previous ownership experience. The best thing about it was as we drove back to her parents place, my wife commented that she felt as if I always had this watch even though she's never seen me wear a Rolex before. I knew it was the right one for me.

Anyways sorry for the long story. Thanks to TRF for the guidance in getting me here.
