Day Date II question
Ok so I own a day date II which I purchased about 6-7 months back. The colour of my "day" and "date" seems to be creamish or off white so to say, as compared to stark white which I've seen in many pictures online and at a few Ads. I've only seen one other day date which has a similar creamish colour as mine but rest all seem to be stark white. I've attached a picture as well so you guys can see.. And no the lighting is fine..it's just this colour in every light. Any reason? Why is this

It looks ok to me. Fits the dial choice. Classy. :-) Do you have another pic for comparison sake?

Wow, Alex..thats pretty crisp. Hmmm....maybe some get cream & some get white?
I'm not familiar with this, can someone request a Day - Date wheel change? Probably at their cost I imagine. |

This has been the case on the day date for many years certain colours get a cream date day wheel to better match the dial. Cheers.

Here's another picture with more lighting.. now Alex and I have the exact same watch, with the exact same dial. His day date background is stark white, while mine is creamish.. How come?

Mine is a "G" as well. I'm thinking the random serial watches might be the start of the colored indicators while the G serials have white. If we can get the people with colored and white to post what serial they have maybe we will find an answer. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk

Is there a way to change the topic of this thread? I wanted to change it to something more accurate on the subject but I can't find a way to edit it

Day Date II question
Quote:
Yes "G" serial number starts with G or any other letter followed by 6 numbers, Sounds like yours is random, It should be 8 characters long with letters and or numbers in any spot. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk

Looks great! Works quite well with your watch. Perhaps someone at the factory sneezed during assembly. ;-)
