Today is a sad day :(
So here is the story:
I was walking out of the bathroom at a club in Orlando last night with my AP Ceramic Driver on and someone bumped into me and the next thing I know my watch was no longer on my wrist and it was no where to be seen. I immediately checked the floor to see if it maybe fell off my wrist. It was gone! Someone stole my watch right off my wrist! I honestly feel like I want to cry! I filed a police report and called AP. I unfortunately did not insure the watch. Any suggestions... Everyone be careful with your watches. You never know... |

I had a magican take a watch off my wrist and I had no idea it occured until he pulled it out of a cup. That said I think 99% of folks would think that watch was just a fancy timex. Kind of disconcerting that the guy not only ID'd the watch but was so good stealing it.

I think the guy had a knife, and he was able to cut the rubber strap, as soon you got bumped into him, he did that quickly, because its really strange

As a disclaimer I was drunk as this took place around 1am in the club. From what I can remember I was distracted as someone was pointing out a halloween costume, and I felt someone bump into me. I didn't think twice about it, being that I was at a club and am always getting bumped into. My wrist suddenly felt a little light, I look down and my watch was gone. No idea who did it... I was also with the owners of the club...
I had the tang buckle which is very difficult to take off. I feel as if I was targeted. My best friend was wearing an Richard Mille(which is much easier to take off) but also more "undercover" and he was lucky enough to leave the club with his watch still on his wrist. I am still grieving. Once I come to the realization that the watch is gone for good I will buy the same watch again(I loved the watch and only had it for 6 short month). It is going to be hard buying the same watch twice in one year... :( |
