My New SubC (Pictures & story)

It seems that it is something inside everyone who owns other types of diver watches or watches with black rotating bezel that he needs a Sub to be satisfied
I am like everyone here loved watches since I was a kid, got all types and colours of watches but always loved the black bezel ones
I bought a Tag Aquaracer 2008 (diver) loved it an still do but was keen to get it little different from a sub knowing that one day I will buy one and didn't want them to look the same!
I also bought a GMTIIC LN 2010 and was very satisfied and even felt it is more aesthetically pleasing than a Sub (which was not yet available at AD bec was just released at basel few months earlier that year plus was not going to be discounted when it arrives if I wait) with all that things going on the bezel and the extra function (that I use to track different time zones & travel) besides the nice green colour and improved movment it is one of rolexes best sports models out there
But then as many here knows I was bitten by the bug again and was trying not to buy just because I don't need (simple) and I got a lot of go and get some coloured Rolex like Hulk
but I also listened to the SubC LN singing to me
Also I quoted some members words that really sound relative to me like
"Get what you want not what you should get" jshepard
"I believe everyone should own a sub LN" kyu
"Now, I only ADD Rolex watches" jason71
So I went with my feelings and just bought the SubC and very excited
Enjoy the pics ans sorry I some is not clear although some of the pictures still have all the stickers I am still working on them :)

As for my GMTIIC I will keep it for now as I still love it but may flipp for a BLNR in the future when the BLNR hype is over so it would be a fair flipp or trade

Congrats! Great pics and story. That is what TRF is all about.
I regret not taking the obligatory "wrist shot from the car" for my first Rolex. The wrist shot in the car is, in my opinion, the coolest pic you can take.

It's usually your first moment alone....

Well done Ash.

Great purchase! You can tell you love it, because you won't even take off the barcodes before driving off with it.

Are you going to keep the GMT?

GMT and Sub look almost identical. Trade GMT for a Daytona or pre-owned GMT Pepsi and call it a day
