It was on a postcard in the mail yesterday the reason listed was "Active Physician".
I was scheduled to report on Tuesday.

Ah so all the reasons you listed before were actually on someone's mind and the process is somewhat thoughtful. Aren't you sorry you came up with the ways to spend the $9 a day.

LOVE being on Jury Duty...but with my wife being a State Trooper...usually I get dismissed. Always the same line of question:
"With your wife being a Trooper, do you think you can be fair to the defendant?"

me: "Absolutely. Her job is just that. Doesn't affect my decisions."

Them (in about 5 minutes): "you can be excused."

lol

EVERY time! I guess I can see that if there is a doubt, and they can remove a person...might as well be the spouse of a LEO. Just humorous is all. Same thing, every time.

In Australia you don't get questioned.
The Prosecution & Defense get how long it takes for you to walk from your seat, across in front of them to the Bailiff for the swearing-in.
They have a list of all the potential jurors with some basic info about them - like your occupation - but that's about it.
They're really just looking at you and taking a punt.
