Jawbone mini jambox
Any members use a Jawbone mini jambox? I'm getting Holly an ipod touch to update from her ipod classic for Christmas and wanted a small bluetooth speaker and was looking at the mini jambox, reviews seem pretty good. Thoughts on whoever has any experience with the mini. Thanks in advance.

I'd go with the new Bose BT speaker. Heard it the other day and it was great. I think it retails for $129.

I have a Beoplay A2. It is really good, but only downside is bass is a little bit too strong, you can hear a physical thump against the speaker grille.

Hey Tim, although I have the BIG Jambox but the mini, from what I've heard and read, is great. I love the products. After it's charged, I can take it anywhere around in the house or on a short trip. They make quality stuff.

Jawbone mini jambox
Jawbone makes great products. I bought a Bassboomz portable Bluetooth Speaker and really like the small size for travel and the Bluetooth capability. I wanted something that had good quality sound but was small too. Check it out... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bF795Rq3azI

Check out the jbl flip. Jawbone has better bass, but the jbl seems to do better in the midrange and highs; great for jazz etc

Just purchased the jambox mini and was disappointed as it doesn't get very loud and the sound at the higher volume was distorted. Sending it back and got a Bose soundlink mini $200. Night and day difference... Love the Bose.

My wife and I use the Ultimate Ears Mini Boom, not too shabby sound quality, gets loud without distortion, great battery life between charges. It has a rubberized coating so it can stand up to outdoor use. Lastly, if you use their app, you can run two in stereo mode with some devices. Overall much happier with this than the last garbage one I picked up a couple years ago.

I was in the market for a BT speaker and heard several. Hands down the best sounding was the Bose sound link mini. I've heard JBL, beats pill, Braven, and several others and none can match the punch and volume of the soundlink mini.
I don't usually recommend Bose products as I feel they are overpriced, but since most BT speakers are roughly that price point give or take; I don't see the $200 price tag as being over the top. |

I have owned one since they first came out. For the money I could not be more pleased. The battery life is around 10 hours in real use and the sound quality is great. There are more expensive models and I am sure many options but I have enjoyed mine and would buy another.
