RSC UK times
I sent my Daytona into the UK RSC well over a week ago via a local AD and was told that Rolex would be in touch within a week to say what if anything needed to be replaced,
I have not heard from the AD or Rolex but wondered what the normal time from entry at RSC would they contact with a repair quote? cheers for any info When I called Rolex direct about the service before sending the guy at RSC said they are doing a 4/5 week turnaround but due to Christmas break to allow 6 weeks but the AD said 10 weeks. |

If you sent it in through your AD then all discussions Rolex undertakes will be with the AD as they are your "agent".
This is a good reason to take/send it to the RSC yourself.

As Larry says above the AD is acting basically as an agent. They also might not have sent it for a couple of days after you dropped it off. I remember the days before the UK service centre moved to their new building in Kings Hill and the turnaround times were pushing 20 weeks at one point.

I called Rolex direct first and they said I had the choice of sending myself but it being underinsured & at my risk or taking it to an AD for an extra £20 and have it fully insured although the AD didn't charge me anything.
I am not complaining I am just wondering when they will get in touch for any repairs |
