New Oyster Perpetual gaining time

I got a brand new ref 116000 yesterday morning and I'm really loving it, but it's gaining time a lot. Within the last 12 hours, it's gained 10 seconds. Has anyone had issues like this before with a new Rolex?

Mine do go haywire occasionally when I start them up.

I had wildly inaccurate timings when retrieving them from a very hot car for example.

Give it at least 5 days of continual wearing off just 1 lot of 45 full turn windings. See how it averages out.

I agree you should wear it awhile before you get concerned.

Whatever the case, it can be regulated under warranty.

I've had all of mine regulated under warranty at about one year of ownership. The GMTII will be next.
