6282 Oyster Brevet 61 end links info needed
Hi everyone,
I picked this 1953 Rolex 6282 and have been looking for some info about a few characteristics that are not familiar with what I've normally seen on Rolex watches. First the crown has a cross (+) under the rolex crown. Also between the lungs you can find the word ''Brevet'' and the same cross logo. I'm also looking for some info on the bracelet which has 3-55 on the clasp and '61' or could it be '19' end links. It's a first time I wear a rivet bracelet which is spring loaded and find it very comfy. All in all i'm very happy with the watch. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you Alex |

Anyone knows the history of this bracelet? I was told that those '61' end links used to come with the vintage Daytona or vintage Sub is that true?

Hi they are 19mm "61" endlinks. They fit some Tudors also, they might fit early Cosmos but I don't think Cosmos left the factory with 61s, and they aren't terribly rare.
The bracelet looks to be in nice overall condition, especially if expandable and has some value.

Thanks for your answer. The bracelets is in very good condition, I was surprise that the bracelet had no stretch and was straight as a bar so only when I pulled on it I realized that it was expendable :) I'm still wondering on which Rolex model the 61 end links originally came with.

Maybe yours? I've yet to find a definitive listing of endlinks/models pairings. If anyone has one, I'd love to see it!

Is that a rare bracelet? Is it original to the watch?
