DSSD to hit the Auckland market in August!!

Hi guys,

Had a brief telephonic chat with my AD yesterday. He informed me that the new SD would be in his store by August at a phenomenal list price of NZ$12,300 (about US$ 9,800)

Thank you very much.....for HALF that bloody price, a brand new SS Sub-date would do me nicely!!

Cheers - JJ

That price on the new SD of NZ$12,300 is going to be the AD List Price - no discount.

I can get a brand new 16610 for approx. half that price in NZ Dollars.

JJ

PS: 1 NZ$ = 40 p or 80 US cents.

JJ, that 12.3k NZD is GST included right?
Also, does Mansor ship the box out via mail separately, as a "value added service"?

Yes, all inclusive - final, out-the-door price - no discount!!

No, Mansors does no shipping due to insurance "headaches". He sells directly out of shop. If you come to Auckland, you could take one out TAX FREE which would save you quite a bit.

Thanks JJ, Argh, I mean only shipping the box, papers etc. I would wear the piece.
The ADs in HK and Singapore ship the box out to my home address as "extra service" so that I don't carry the box in my baggage.

JJ, I have the sneaking suspicion that you're going to pick up an SS Sub Date very soon...

Anyway, the DSSD is said to hit Denmark in September. Let's see. The Milgauss GV was going to hit Denmark in September 2007, but did not appear on the Danish market before December.

Hmmm, if it hits Auckland and the rest of Oceania at around the time of August, I expect the United States might have them at around the same time or slightly thereafter.

I have a feeling that there will be waiting lists generated for this model as well as soon as it first hits the ADs.

Just a wee bit more expensive than our price if you convert your Aussie dollars to Kiwi dollars at the rate of.....1NZ$ = 87 A cents.

I hope a watch THAT big (and expensive) doesn't hit ANYTHING too hard. If it doesn't leave a mark, it'll definitely dent your wallet!
