In 1945 my watch would have looked like this...

My grandfather's 17 jewel 31mm Boulevard. Now part of my collection. Nice watch marketed to men, although my toddler's watch is bigger. A different time, indeed. Still runs (for a bit) when I wind her up. I doubt it has ever been serviced so it's impressive that there is still life after 7 decades.

I'm considering it. I have no idea what the cost would be, but if it wasn't too much I'll do it. I doubt there's much monetary value in this watch, but I like the idea of having something in great working order that's from another time in our history, as well as belonging to my grandfather. Would make for some great before and after pics, for sure.
