Leather or NATO for me. I honestly never liked NATOs until I got a few vintages lately and a few NATOs and started to really like them, plus you can swap them at a moments notice. Bonus: if a springbar breaks its likely the watch won't fall off.

I bought a few nice leather straps from Bulang and Sons and really like the way they finish them and the thickness of the leather.

Nothing wrong with switching it up every so often. It's like having a new watch at very little cost...
