oh... duh. That makes sense now. Thanks Tkerrmd and diracpoint.

If that's the case I wouldn't buy unless you really love the watch. The GMT doesn't strike me as a precious metal watch, more of a daily wearer beat around watch. I would save and spend the big bucks on more dress watches in pm.

Unless you just have tons of money to burn and doesn't matter to you, go for it :)

Tough call but I'd consider the following:

1. Yes, BLNR may depreciate if you wait a bit but as more BLRO's get "out there", I'd expect more to become available thru trusted sellers here and their prices to drop as well. Delta should hopefully increase?

2. Basel will either present something else for you to love or something for others to love, the latter taking some of the price pressure off of BLRO
