GMT II or Hulk?

Dear Members,

I am contemplating trading up my GMT II for a Hulk. If it were my only watch, I would stick with the GMT II as I think it's more versatile and suitable for daily wear. However, I own a few watches so I think a Hulk would add some color to my collection. Another option is to flip both my GMT II and IWC Pilot Chronograph Le Petit Prince Edition for a Daytona.

My ultimate goal is to achieve a well balanced collection. I would love to hear your thoughts.

I actually love the GMTII and on the edge with the Hulk. If it were a bluesy I would be sold. I am not a big fan of the Daytona either. I guess what I'm getting at is keep your current collection. You've got a great one.

I love a sunburst, so the Hulk or sell those two for a Bluesy.

I'd do it. The LVC would add some nice diversity and splash of color to mix things up a bit.

The Hulk will add color to your stash plus it is still 100% a Sub. When light hits the dial at different angles or times of the day, you will appreciate it more.

Get the Hulk but try to keep the GMT... if you can't, sell the GMT LN of yours and get the BLNR in the future.

PS - Totally biased

Hulk will add some color but going from GMT to Hulk not sure about that

if you had the option to get a Daytona then that beats the GMT and the Hulk!

the YM also is a nice choice for color....

I would keep the GMT and add the LVc. And trade whatever you need to get it.

Keep GMT, but of course I am totally biased as well. Hulk is nice but think you may regret steering away from the GMT.

As much as I love the Daytona, I think you should skip it and flip the GMT for a LVC. You have a chrono with a speedy.

I would trade your IWC for a watch with a GMT function.

That would give a nice balance of color and function to your collection.

My preference would be the GMT as I am not sure whether I would get tired of the green color.

Hulk owner here. Nothing bad to say about it. And, as I've said many times before in this forum, it looks like a black dial about 50% of the time - so the color is actually more subtle than you might think. It's a gorgeous reference.

Gotta ask - was the Hulk out when you bought the GMT? If so, why didn't you choose it over the GMT at that time?

In any event, whatever floats your boat. At these price points no sense not being 100% happy. But personally I'd cull a different one from the herd to fund the LVC.

wouldn't be a bad idea to add a color or two to your collection(great one by the way)

I would trade your IWC for hulk. Like someone said, I'm not sure trading GMT for hulk is good idea. Good luck.
