Need suggestions / recommendations - buying Rolex in NYC

I am eyeing on 40mm Explorer II (don't really fancy the new 42mm ones) and I will be flying over to New York in April.

Where would be a good place to shop around for vintage / second hand Rolex's in NYC - any recommendations / suggestions?

I am looking for honest places that do good prices :)

Thanks gents!

For second hand there aren't a ton of options in NYC that aren't at least mildly sleazy. The Diamond District (47th street between 6th and 5th) will probably have what you want, but be careful and haggle like mad.

Stores like Aaron Faber may have it as well (I think I saw a more modern explorer 2 there recently) but again, make sure you can have it checked out for a period of time after buying, they do poor due diligence when they take trades.

I had one deal with Element in Time and it was a very nice experience.

I was just in Aaron Faber last week. No purchase experience here, but the shop is incredible. The selection is amazing and the staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. They had at least 3 vintage explorer 2s in the shop btw. One was a McQueen ridiculously priced! The other was a beautiful cream dial (about $10k) and I think they had a nice transitional example from the 80s.
